What really is Nixel OrderManager ?
Nixel OrderManager is a product from Nixel Technology that can work well for an organization that needs to frequently process orders from customers.


What kind of companies will find Nixel OrderManager useful ?

Any manufacturing, industrial servicing, software, consulting, web design, engineering and personalized service company will find the product useful.


How long will it take to implement Nixel OrderManager?
We have done implementations in 1 day and explained the product to customers who have been able to then use it from the second day onwards. We have the case of a customer who downloaded the product and began to use it from the fourth day onwards.

We believe Nixel OrderManager is extremely simple to learn and use. Organizations however need to look at the product and its features objectively. Many organizations find some small features or duplication of data entry and believe everything should be seamless. While this is a laudable objective, it is not always possible in a limited cost and time. We believe organizations need to look at software as a part of the continuous change process and keep improving all the time.

Nixel OrderManager fulfils an important organizational need and is available at an extremely cost-effective pricing. If implemented quickly, it can generate paybacks in months for the organization. This benefit will enable the organization to become more nimble and result in savings some of which can then be ploughed into further integration and improvement.

Nixel believe the product will fulfill the essential requirement of automating the order processing process and communications and more importantly enable the information to be made available uniformly to everyone in the organization who is concerned with the order. The same feedback will also be received by the customer froim everyone in the organization since the source of the feedback will be the information provided by Nixel OrderManager.


Can I customize Nixel OrderManager?
The data lists, the users and their groups, their roles and privileges, the activities that form the working process in the organization and the hierarchical trees can be customized to suit each organization's needs. The basic operations and features of the product cannot be changed or customized.

Nixel provides the source code for all report formats which can be easily customized by anyone who knows Visual Basic and its Data Reports module.


What is the licensing policy on the product ?
Nixel OrderManager has a fixed cost of $499. This is a product cost and provides multi-user functionality from one to 25 users at no additional cost.


If I have only 5 users who can work on this product, what is the price at which I can get Nixel OrderManager ?
The pricing of the product is independent of the number of users up to a maximum of 25. The same price will apply whether you make use of all the 25 users possible or only a few of them. This however gives you the flexibility of have a single product license that will not need upgrade even if you go up to 25 users.


What happens if my organization exceeds 25 users?
You can easily upgrade the product license in slabs of 25 users each at a cost of $299 for every additional set of 25 users.


What about training and implementation assistance?
Nixel does not provide any on-site training or implementation assistance for the product. There is however an instructional tutorial that ships with each product that will enable your users to get a good understanding of the product and its usage. The tutorial runs for one hour and can be used any number of times.

Implementation support is provided by Nixel online. This could be either through a telephone call to the Nixel Support Center or by an email or through an online chat. Nixel assures replies to emails within 12 hours of their receipt.

In some cities, Nixel also has partners who can provide training, implementation assistance and on-site support. An updated list of these partners will soon be provided.


Do you really think we can implement the product without any
assistance ?

Sure. Nixel OrderManager is extremely simple to setup and intuitive in its operations and structure. With the user reference and the learning tutorial it will not take too much time to learn the product and its operation.


How do I place my order for the product ?
Its simple. Simply go on to the product website at nixel.com/ordermanager and fill in the form provided. Or you can email or fax your order to Nixel at sales@nixel.com and 91-22-5922394 respectively. Nixel will soon be making payments possible online. Presently you can wire or send payments to Nixel by demand draft or local cheques payable at Mumbai. On receipt of a confirmation of the payment, Nixel will provide you the product license key by email and you can use this with the downloaded software. Or you can ask for a media set and Nixel will send you a single CD containing all the software and documentation.


Will you keep upgrading the product ?

Nixel has a team of engineers working all the time on product enhancements and is committed to providing upgrades regularly. The time interval of upgrades is difficult to predict but will depend a lot on customer acceptance and feedback. You can help this process by providing us valuable feedback and your wish list of features that you would like Nixel OrderManager to have.

We believe software is a continuously evolving process and request you to begin with the present version and keep moving with us as we enhance it and make it more powerful and integrated.
