Software Programmers (Job Code
- SD) We need software programmers who will work in our development teams to build solutions, products and customized systems for our customers. The skills we need for our projects are Databases : Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2 and mySQL Application Development Tools : Visual Basic, Delphi Web Application Tools : Java / J2EE, Microsoft ASP / .net, Perl/CGI, PHP4 Operating Systems : Windows 2000 and Linux servers, Windows 98 clients You should be a graduate in a discipline of engineering from a reputed engineering college and should have atleast 2 years of experience working on software development projects for a software solutions provider. You should have a good working knowledge of programming, must be well organized and systematic in writing and testing code, be able to work with databases and write complex SQL queries. You must also have a good understanding of operating systems that you will be working on and installation and configuration of necessary tools and web servers. It is important that you be able to write good quality code that needs minimum quality tests and iterations to ensure project delivery on schedule. While you will need to work at the Nixel office, there will be times when you will be required to visit customer sites and work on development with the users. Nixel will be happy to consider good candidates for either full employment or on contract. A fixed remuneration will be backed with performance incentives that reward hard work, good productivity and quality and enable delivery of the finished software well within the estimated schedule. Software developers will need to sign confidentiality and intellectual property agreements that assign all rights to the software and other intellectual property developed for Nixel projects to Nixel and its associate companies. You will also be required to maintain all the information that is provided to you for the project strictly confidential during your tenure and thereafter. |
