The project manager needs to be a technology expert, a good leader and manager and someone who is able to soothe the nerves of the customer when the going gets tough. |

Project
Managers (Job Code - PM) We need project managers who have handled software projects in independent capacity earlier and are willing to take on the responsibility of complete management of our projects right from their inception all the way through design, development, quality assurance and deployment at the customer locations. You will also be required to maintain communication with our customers regularly and update them on project progress. A typical profile of person that will suit this requirement is someone with a graduation in engineering followed by a diploma or post-graduation in management. The candidate should have worked in organizations for atleast 5 years of which atleast 3 years should be with software development organizations in which you have handled atleast 2 projects in independent capacity with a team of a few developers. it is important that you understand technology environments and tools and have done a fair share of programming and quality assurance yourself. You must be appreciative of project management methods and tools that will help build and deliver software on time. Your inter-personal and leadership skills must be of a high calibre and you must have good oral and written communication abilities to coordinate with customers. You must have the confidence to take independent decisions that are in the interest of the customers and the organization. You will be required to travel to customer locations either within Mumbai or in other cities where we have projects in operation. |
